VESPER
Vesper is a kinetic light sculpture inspired by the delicate equilibrium and poetic motion of Alexander Calder’s mobiles. Suspended in space, a series of abstract shapes gently revolve around a central axis, evoking the quiet rhythm of celestial bodies in motion and the harmony of cosmic systems. The balance of its elements - both physical and luminous - creates a sense of stillness within motion, of presence within transience. Vesper employs two distinct lighting technologies: a COB LED light, which provides a soft, diffused glow, and a COB spotlight, which casts more focused illumination. Together, they create a layered lighting effect and, as the mobile moves, light and shadow shift in quiet rhythm, transforming the space around it. The name Vesper refers to the evening star, embodying a moment of transition between light and darkness. In this twilight of quiet motion and luminous tension, Vesper invites a meditative experience of equilibrium and impermanence.
