MORGHEN is a Milan-based practice producing collectible work shaped through classical craftsmanship and material research.

Founded by Roberto Tarter and Rodolfo Viola, the practice operates within the continuity of European artisan culture while advancing a distinctly contemporary formal language, blending artisan heritage and state-of-the-art techniques.

Conceived through rigorous technical inquiry, each piece emerges from the intersection of material intelligence and spatial awareness.

Works are developed and meticulously handcrafted in a former carpentry workshop in Milan’s Bovisa district, where ongoing research informs an evolving body of collectible objects and spatial interventions.

MORGHEN produces primarily unique commissions alongside a focused body of work and has been widely published internationally, including in Architectural Digest, Dezeen, ELLE Decor, The New York Times, Financial Times, and Wallpaper*.
